Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Names, birth dates, or other terms submitted through a search box are sent to the outside company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. Henry County Warrant Records does not retain or create a site log of those search terms.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or contact message may be kept long enough to review and answer it. We keep those communications within our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
Site systems may receive basic technical and usage details when a page loads. Those details can include:
- Your device’s Internet Protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when available
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files placed on a device. They and analytics services help show broad traffic patterns, such as popular pages and points where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how some functions behave.
What We Do With This Data
Collected information supports ordinary site operations. We may use it for these purposes:
- Operating the website and improving load performance
- Passing a requested search to the proper outside provider
- Understanding which resources visitors use
- Diagnosing errors, misuse, and technical faults
- Presenting advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Warrant Data on File
Henry County Warrant Records does not own, host, compile, sell, or maintain a database of warrants or personal warrant records. The site provides general directions to the Henry County Circuit Clerk, District and Circuit Courts, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, municipal courts, and Alabama court services. It does not assemble visitor information into a consumer report or a record about another person. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information entered there is governed by that provider’s privacy policy rather than this policy. Each company controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Visitors should read those terms before submitting a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the Henry County Sheriff, Alabama court pages, municipal services, legal resources, or outside search providers. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination’s privacy terms apply. Review them before disclosing personal information.
Advertising companies may use their own technology to follow activity across websites and tailor advertisements. That processing occurs through their systems, not ours.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be available to:
- Search providers processing a query a visitor submits
- Analytics vendors measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving advertisements
- Courts, law enforcement, or government entities acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable, commonly used safeguards protect information under our control. No online service or transmission method is completely secure, however. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access or another security event will never occur.
Users Under 18
The website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under eighteen. If we learn that a minor supplied such data, we will take steps to remove it promptly.
Your Data Rights
Rights can vary with a visitor’s location and applicable law. The Alabama Open Records Law, §36-12-40 governs access to Alabama public writings, not private-site visitor data. Subject to applicable privacy and consumer law, a visitor may:
- Request a copy of personal data held about them
- Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected
- Seek deletion of personal data
- Object to or opt out of certain processing
Updates to This Policy
This policy may be revised as practices, services, or legal requirements change. A revised policy will appear here with its current effective date. Continued use after publication means the updated policy applies.
